QA for Lovable apps
Try your Lovable app with someone who has no account, no saved data, and no knowledge of how it works. Can they sign up, create something useful, and come back to it?
VibeAssure reviews the tasks you want customers to complete. Get a report of what we tried, what worked, and the problems we found, with reproduction steps and priorities for fixes.
What to test in your Lovable app
Lovable Cloud includes a database, authentication, and storage. For an app using those features, the review should follow what happens to a customer's account and work across sessions. Lovable Cloud documentation.
Start with a fresh account on the URL you plan to share. Create the first workspace or record, sign out, and return. If your app supports collaboration, accept an invitation in a separate browser session. This checks the experience of both people, including what happens before either has existing data.
- Can a new account complete setup without records you created while building?
- Does saved work remain available after signing out and back in?
- Can an invited teammate reach the intended workspace?
These checks and the example below are starting points for choosing your scope. We agree the tasks, platform, and build before testing starts.
Walk through a customer task
Create a workspace and invite a teammate
An owner wants a teammate to join the workspace and see the work they have shared.
- Where the customer starts
- Two unused test email addresses, separate browser sessions, and no existing workspace.
- What a successful result looks like
- The owner creates a workspace. The teammate accepts the invite, sees that workspace, and can return to it after signing in again.
Cases to try
- Open the invitation while signed in with a different email address.
- Open the same invitation again after accepting it.
- Sign out immediately after joining, then sign in again.
Problems to look for
- The invite says it was accepted, but the workspace is missing on the next visit.
- The app joins the account already signed in without explaining that it differs from the invited address.
Test accounts: Workspace owner, Invited teammate.
Services used in this example
- Account sign-in
- Invitation email delivery
- Workspace and membership storage
What a finding looks like
This hypothetical example shows how a problem is described in the report. Your review records what we observe in your app, how to repeat it, and which findings to address first.
The workspace disappears after the teammate signs in again
Steps to repeat the problem
- Create a workspace with the owner test account and invite the teammate.
- Accept the invitation in the teammate's browser session.
- Sign out, sign in again, and open the workspace list.
What happens
The invitation shows a confirmation and the workspace opens initially. After signing in again, the teammate's workspace list is empty.
Why it matters
The teammate cannot return to the shared work. The owner has to help them regain access before collaboration can continue.
Use the account details and invitation steps in the report when asking Lovable or your developer to investigate. The finding describes what happened in the app; the cause still needs to be checked.
Other tasks to include in your scope
- Recover an account after forgetting the password.
- Remove a teammate and check their next visit.
- Create a record, edit it, and reopen it from a fresh session.
What to bring to the review
- Share the app URL and tell us what a new customer should do first.
- Provide separate test accounts for an owner and a teammate, if the app has shared workspaces.
- Explain which records each account should see, and how invitation emails are sent.
We usually need an app link or build and authorized test accounts. You or your developer make the fixes using the report. A retest after changes can be quoted separately.
