QA for v0 apps

When a visitor submits a form in your v0 app, someone needs to receive the details. Follow the task from the visitor's phone to the team's view, including corrections and the final confirmation.

VibeAssure reviews the tasks you want customers to complete. Get a report of what we tried, what worked, and the problems we found, with reproduction steps and priorities for fixes.

What to test in your v0 app

v0 can build full-stack apps with database connections and backend logic. If your app has those features, include the saved result in the review. v0 full-stack documentation.

For an enquiry form, agree which devices and input methods to cover. Check whether people can reach every field, understand an error, and correct it without losing their answers. Then find the enquiry in the receiving team's view and compare it with what the visitor entered.

  • Can a visitor reach the fields and submit button on the agreed mobile device?
  • Does a validation error show what to correct and preserve the other answers?
  • Does the team receive the same details shown in the submission confirmation?

These checks and the example below are starting points for choosing your scope. We agree the tasks, platform, and build before testing starts.

Walk through a customer task

Send an enquiry from a phone

A visitor wants to describe what they need and know that the team received it.

Where the customer starts
The agreed mobile device, a blank enquiry form, and access to the team's receiving view.
What a successful result looks like
The visitor fills in the form, corrects any errors, and submits. One enquiry with the same answers appears for the team, and the visitor sees what happens next.

Cases to try

  • Enter a long answer in the message field.
  • Submit with an invalid email address, then correct it.
  • Open the on-screen keyboard near the bottom of the form.

Problems to look for

  • The keyboard covers the submit button and the visitor cannot reach it.
  • Correcting one field clears the rest of the form.
  • The visitor sees a confirmation, but no enquiry appears for the team.

Test accounts: Visitor, Team member receiving enquiries.

Services used in this example

  • Enquiry storage or form service
  • Notification email, if used

What a finding looks like

This hypothetical example shows how a problem is described in the report. Your review records what we observe in your app, how to repeat it, and which findings to address first.

A confirmation appears, but the enquiry is missing

Steps to repeat the problem

  1. Open the form on the agreed phone and enter a test enquiry.
  2. Submit and wait for the confirmation.
  3. Open the receiving view and look for the enquiry using its test email address.

What happens

The visitor sees a confirmation. The enquiry does not appear in the team's receiving view.

Why it matters

The visitor expects a reply, but the team has no enquiry to respond to.

Use the report's device, field values, and submission steps when asking v0 or your developer to investigate. Check the receiving view too when repeating the task after changes.

  • Complete the form using the agreed keyboard controls.
  • Read the confirmation email and follow its next step.
  • Send a second enquiry and check that it stays separate.

What to bring to the review

  • Share the deployed URL and identify the form to review.
  • Tell us which mobile device, browser, or keyboard use to include in the scope.
  • Provide a test inbox or access to the view where enquiries arrive.

We usually need an app link or build and authorized test accounts. You or your developer make the fixes using the report. A retest after changes can be quoted separately.
